The boaters’ lunch, the young girls at the piano and the bouquets of flowers are so many memories of a happy time in the joy of country parties.

The painter’s workshop
The workshop is a place of dream: it is a contemporary interpretation of the swirl of creation, this sort of powerful flow that carried Renoir, according to his close relations. One of his favorite objects was the wheelchair, symbol of Renoir’s courage and absolute dedication to painting, from where Renoir painted numerous masterpieces: landscapes, washerwomen and life scenes.
Upstairs visitors can discover the box used by the painter to carry his paintings in the train to Paris, along with sculptures like Dancing girl with tambourine, The flute player and letters from Aline.
