Last month the prestigious Michelin Guide to France 2017 was released, with 70 new stars were awarded in total. The chef Yannick Alleno’s Le 1947 at the Cheval Blanc Hotel in Courchevel has been awarded three Michelin star.
Le 1947 restaurant has become the 27th restaurant in France to receive the highest Michelin rating.
12 restaurants earned two stars, including Gordon Ramsay’s Le Pressoir d’Argent in Bordeaux, Le Clarence in Paris, La Kintessence in Courchevel.
The 50-year-old chef, Gordon Ramsay became the first Briton to win two Michelin stars in France.
57 restaurants earned one star, including the only female chef amongst the new stars: Fanny Rey’s L’Auberge Reine Jeanne in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
