Science is truly spectacular at the Palais de la découverte, where passion and expertise rule!
Every day, enthusiastic facilitators conduct original experiments and explain them to the public, who are invited to get directly involved (French only). Housed in an historic building just a short walk from the Champs-Elysées, the Palais de la découverte was opened for the International Exhibition of 1937. This legendary museum devoted to basic science is set in an architectural gem dating from the Belle Epoque and Art Deco periods. These exceptional surroundings have played host to several generations of major scientists.
