French authorities have taken and published a certain number of recommendations and measures to prevent and slow the spreadof Covid-19; this document aims to relay this information and to shed light on any concerns or queries you may have.

B- The measures implemented in France by French authorities:
Within France, a containment and confinement system has been implemented throughout the country from Tuesday,March 17 at 12:00 noon for a minimum of fifteen days. Leaving one’s residence is prohibited except in the following circumstances and in possession of a written certificate:– journey from home to work when teleworking is not possible;
– shopping for basic necessities in authorized local shops;
– medical appointments ;
– childcare or care of vulnerable people, under the strict condition that the barrier gestures or social distancing are respected;
– outdoor athletic activities, only on an individual basis or on your own.

C- For your travels to France:
The borders of the Schengen area have been closed from March 17- noon for a period of 30 days. This means there will be noentering the French territory for this period of time, with a few exceptions, including French citizens coming back to France from abroad.

SNCF (French National Railroads):
If you wish to exchange your tickets or postpone your trip due to the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus you will benefit from no fee exchanges and refunds for all your connecting TGV INOUI, Intercités, OUIGO and TER trains running until April 30.

a. having booked at a flexible rate, can modify or cancel their reservation :
i. by going to the all.accor.com site and clicking on “My reservations”;
